Objective of RARIS is to support development initiatives based on institutional networking and partnerships aiming at sustainable development of Eastern Serbia.

Join the Regional EU Platform

Regional EU platform eastern Serbia continue to strengthen the capacity of Eastern Serbia to actively participate in European Integration.

The Regional EU platform Eastern Serbia is a mechanism for formulating attitudes, interests and criticism of local actors related to the accession process and the interests of the region. The Regional EU platform gathered more than 70 representatives of civil society organizations (CSOs), local and regional authorities, development institutions, educational institutions, the sector of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), the media and citizens interested in this topic.

Regional EU platform defines two key thematic areas of eastern Serbia, that were selected based on the priorities of Regional Development Strategy of Eastern Serbia, and they are:

- Agriculture and Rural Development and the

- Environment.

For each of these areas, a special working group with the assistance of experts and consultants, handles priority issues and develop recommendations eastern Serbia in the EU accession process.
