RARIS took active part in the project "Start up! Serbia - Encouraging Investment Activity of the Diaspora", implemented by the International Center for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD) from Austria. RARIS recommended the municipalities of Negotin and Kladovo for participation in the upcoming ICMPD projects. In cooperation with the Municipality of Negotin, RARIS organized in July a Business Forum "Business for the Future - B2B". More than 50 participants were informed about the business support programs in Serbia, as well as the project implemented by the ICMPD, and the conclusion is that the animation of the diaspora for starting a business and business networking in eastern Serbia should be intensified.

Presentation, "East Serbia - Business Opportunities" was held a day later in Vienna, in cooperation with the Serbian Clubs Association in Vienna, and gathered over 40 participants interested in business in eastern Serbia. An electronic edition of the Business Guide and Internet platform was also announced, which will further facilitate the information and networking of representatives of the Diaspora with business in Eastern Serbia.
