The meeting of the Coordination Committee for the implementation of the Agreement on joint municipal waste management was held on March 9th, 2016, in Zaječar. At the meeting, Draft Regional Waste Management Plan for the City of Zaječar and the municipalities of Boljevac, Bor, Kladovo, Majdanpek, Negotin and Knjaževac, was presented by representatives of the Faculty of Technical Sciences, Novi Sad.
- Each municipality / the City, finding out some incorrect data regarding the municipality / city entered in the Regional Plan, shall deliver to data processing experts the correct information within 2 weeks (until March 24th);
- The second control measuring of the volume of waste in the municipalities / the City shall be performed in the period between April 10th and 17th, 2016;
- Due to a date shift of the second control measurement of the amount of waste, RARIS will make an annex to the Agreement concluded with the Faculty of Technical Sciences, Novi Sad, and extend the deadline for the preparation of the Regional Plan for two months.
- The final version of the Regional Waste Management Plan will be set up on web sites of RARIS and the municipalities, and the public will be able to get acquainted with the same and make their comments on it.
The meeting was attended by members of the Coordinating Committee from 7 municipalities / the City- signatories to the Agreement, representatives of the Faculty of Technical Sciences, Novi Sad, who developred theRegional Waste Management Plan, and two independent experts hired to provide expert assistance in preparing the final version of the Regional Plan.
