In Knjazevac, today certificates were awarded to successful participants in the Professional Training Program for the unemployed.

RARIS has successfully implemented the Vocational Training Program for the unemployed over the past few months. The trainings were completely free and attended by young people, women and members of vulnerable groups. The trainings consisted of lectures, practical work and taking the final exam. Trainings were held in Kladovo, Negotin, Knjaževac and Sokobanja.

Participants were additionally trained for beginners in business and workshops on business opportunities in tourism.

A total of 46 participants successfully completed the trainings for assistant chefs, masseurs and digital marketing, and 6 of them have already found a job and established an employment relationship.

This Program was implemented within the project "Job Skills - Improving employment opportunities and social inclusion of marginalized groups through improving the business environment in Eastern Serbia" funded by the Kingdom of Norway through the project "Norway for you - Serbia", implemented by the Regional Development Agency " Braničevo-Podunavlje ”in partnership with the Regional Development Agency of Eastern Serbia - RARIS.
