Project objectives:

General objective: To preserve and improve the quality of soils in Vidin and Zajecar districts across the border.

Specific objective: Enhanced capacity in Vidin and Zajecar districts to address jointly the preservation and improvement of the quality of soils exposed to pollution caused by human activities.

Project activities:

  1. Kick-off conferences (Zajecar district)
  2. Development of the Soil Protection Guidebook
  3. Training on soil protection (Zajecar district)
  4. Cross-border Soil Protection conference (Bulgaria)
  5. Development of the Cross-Border Soil Protection Action Plan
  6. Soil Protection Cross-Border Task Force (Bulgaria and Serbia)
  7. Internet platform
  8. Final Project conference (Zajecar district)
