On Friday, 24th July, 2015, RARIS hosted students of the State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering from Novosibirsk – Sibstrin, the Russian Federation, who stayed in Zaječar within their official visit to the Faculty of Management Zaječar. The Student delegation was led by PhD Lada Shekhovtsova, Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Management and Social Sciences.

At the premises of RARIS the students had an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the work of the first accredited regional development agency in Serbia, regional and cross-border projects which the Agency prepared and implemented, its cooperation with the Faculty of Management Zaječar, as well as with a set of services and assistance provided the small and medium size enterprises

Sonja Manojlovic from the National Agency for Regional Development – NARD presented the work and programs of the state institution that supports the work of regional development agencies.

The dean Dr. Lada Shekhovtsov and her students have shown great interest in the presented regional projects, a way of providing support to start-ups in Eastern Serbia and for the promotion of investment potentials which RARIS carried out. The Dean of Sibstrin has expressed their great desire and hopes for the exchange of business experience and work on joint projects to be developed and implemented together with Faculty of Management Zaječar and RARIS.
