29On today’s ceremony "Balcanica Superior Gala", that was held in the Theater "Zoran Radmilović" Zajecar, RARIS - Regional Development Agency Eastern Serbia presented top ten companies that fulfil the criteria of the brand "Balcanica Superior" and received the prestigious status of "Certified partner". 

Regional brand of Eastern Serbia "Balcanica Superior" is a trademark that:  
- guarantees buyers that branded products or services have a certain level of quality and that they are originating from eastern Serbia; 
- improve reputation of the brand users, visibility and credibility in the market

Stamp guarantees "Balcanica Superior" is registered with the Intellectual Property Office in accordance with the Nice Classification (International Classification of Goods and Services for the Registration of Marks). 

Certified Partners brand "Balcanica Superior" are: Timomed - Knjaževac, Winery RAJ - Negotin, Adonis - Sokobanja, Winery Matalj - Negotin, Hotel Albo - Bor, 
Restaurant MAYOR - Sokobanja, MDS - Knjaževac, ethno village & # 34; Hospitality & # 34 ; Sikole - Negotin, SCS Plus - Knjaževac and Fruta village Petruša - Knjaževac.

The ceremony was attended by hundreds of representatives from the business sector, international organizations, ministries, local governments, tourist associations and civil society, and during the ceremony, which at times had the elements of spectacle. Vladan Jeremic, director of the regional development agency, delivered certificates to the directors and representors of the companies that became certified partners.

Special recognition for support in the process of establishing a regional brand were awarded and John Gallagher, the team leader of the program "Support for rural and regional development in the Republic of Serbia (Prrr)" which is being conducted under the auspices of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).
