At the ceremony in Kladovo, on Thursday, November 26, the representatives of the Hotel "Đerdap" and the company "Glikerija" were presented with the "Balcanica Superior" certificates.
These two companies met all the criteria and acquired the right to use the prestigious status that 17 companies from eastern Serbia already have.
In that way, they joined the companies that gained the prestigious status of a certified partner earlier: "Timomed" - Knjaževac, Winery RAJ - Negotin, Adonis - Sokobanja, Winery Matalj - Negotin, Hotel "Albo" from Bor, Restaurant "Župan" - Sokobanja , "MDS" - Knjaževac, Ethno village "Gostoljublje" - Negotin, "SCS Plus" - Knjaževac, "Frutimo" - Knjaževac, Guesthouses "C'est La Vie" - Rajac and "Jovanović" from Rogljevo, "Atrium" Apartments and "Jezero" Restaurant from Kladovo and Irish Pub "Rivendell" from Zajecar
Regional Brand of Eastern Serbia “Balcanica Superior” is a certification trademark which:
- Guarantees that branded product or service is of a certain degree of quality and that it originates from Eastern Serbia;
- Improves reputation, visibility and credibility on the market of a brand user.
The certification trademark “Balcanica Superior” is registered with the Intellectual Property Office under the number 75306 in accordance with the Nice Classification (International Classification of Goods and Services for the Registration of Trademarks).
The regional brand of Eastern Serbia was established on the basis of the best European experiences. It allows consumers and tourists to use branded products and services to contribute to the development of East Serbia.
The regional brand of Eastern Serbia “Balcanica Superior” and the status “Certified partner” can be used by companies that provide accommodation and food preparation services or have products of a clear regional character and which fulfill the defined set of criteria.
The public call for companies from Eastern Serbia for gaining the status of Certified Partner of Regional Brand is open and all companies from Eastern Serbia that are interested can submit their application on the website of the Regional Brand www.balcanicasuperior.rs where all the necessary information are available.
