RARIS participates in the project "Underground Built Heritage - Catalyst for Valorization" financed by the European Framework for Science and Cooperation - COST.
The project brings together more than 200 researchers and experts from 35 countries, and RARIS is one of the members of the project's Steering Committee.
RARIS is in this project first of all to enable the collection of experiences and examples of good practice from the most famous localities that could be applied in Eastern Serbia.
The project is preparing a set of practical tools "Toolbox" as a collection of recommended methodologies, case studies, reference documents, websites and other supporting materials, guidelines and best practices that will be available to all who want to develop underground built cultural heritage in their environments.
At the meeting of the working groups, which was just held in Ankara, RARIS presented the wine cellars and the activities that are being implemented in order to improve the pubs.
Among other things, the Project also developed the Underground Built Heritage Digital Platform, where RARIS presented beer halls
