During this week, RARIS organized two workshops with the aim of presenting the activities of the SpongeCity project.

The aim of the workshops was to familiarize the key stakeholders and professionals with the project and its goals. Through these workshops, local experts had the opportunity to actively participate and contribute to the implementation of further project activities through discussion and specific proposals and advice. Suggestions and expert advice are of great importance for the further realization of the activities, so regular communication will be established and additional meetings will be organized in the future.

The workshops were attended by representatives of the city of Zaječar as a pilot area where the project is implemented, as well as representatives of public companies and institutions dealing with water management and urban planning. The project was presented to the members of the Society of Engineers and Technicians in Zaječar, who also expressed their interest in providing professional input in the implementation of further project activities.
