A month after the opening in Donji Milanovac, the "Mobility Info Center" was opened today in Negotin. "Mobility Infor Center" will work within the Tourist Info Center. Its opening was jointly established by the Tourist Organization of the municipality of Negotin and RARIS.
“Mobility Info Centers” will help tourists and locals in the region of Djerdap to use the ways of transport that have a minimal negative impact on the environment.
“Mobility Info Centers” will provide tourists all information related to sustainable transport, including timetables of public transport, cycling and any other relevant information related to sustainable mobility transport.
“Mobility Info Centers” were established within the project TransDanube.Pearls (Pearls TransDunava) - Network for sustainable transport along the Danube, which is implemented in the framework of the Danube Program and funded by the European Union. Project leads the Austrian Agency for Environmental Protection and in it participate 15 organizations from 9 countries. The project partners from Serbia RARIS (Regional Development Agency Eastern Serbia) and DCC (Danube Competence Center). Associated strategic partner of Serbia in the project are the Ministry of Environment, Development Agency of Serbia and municipalities of Kladovo.
